I shoot straight up the middle off the line - as expected right?
Wrong - less than 10 seconds later the inter-galactic jet boosters started to fire on TnTs Trueno and he took off.
We all bunched up for the first corner though, Maverati was right behind me the whole straight and TnT had to slow right down to keep it on the track- the 512 has oodles of handling over these two.
No matter how much speed i was able to carry through from the straight and first corner..
Even with a massive gap out of the second corner..
Thats silver rocket blasted past almost sideways on the straight..
And braking that beast is a bit of a handful - TnT went into super awesome top speed drift real early in order to manage this thing through the next corner..
it LOOKs like he'll make it, but unfortunately goes just a little wide, and Mav and I slip by.
Door to door and on the back end straight..
I pull infront with barely enough space and TnT comes into view in the distant background
I stayed infront unil we made it to the second of the 3 straights at Road America - with 3 LONG straights at RA TnT had more than enough room to get that rocket up to light speed and went from a tiny dot in my mirror to 100feet infront
Only to have Mav out break us all, and absolutely steal the corner out from under TnT
Here, Mav goes off track breifly..
Comes back on straight away as TnT and myself are moving up on him real quick..
TnT and myself touch noses only ever so lightly..
Which luckily split us apart literally feet from Mavs back end and we went around him!
This was a very memorable race! Not everyday you see a 512 go up against two drastically different tuned Truenos.. or any Trueno for that matter! To be honest, i really thought i was going to dominate and that wasn't the case at all, it was a constant close race with either TnT or infront or Maverati right behind me..

i was driving right behind him as it all happened - the pics look great but watching it unfold on track in real time was excellent..

I SO stole that corner out from under these two little grannies who were doing it at like 10 kph...
I'm, very proud to say that that corner was the most perfect I have ever been able to manage to pull off in my forza career.
I was literaly over 100 meters behind the pair and just braked at the last minute.
God race guys need some more lopsided match ups like this.

oh, and try not to trout yourself too much maverati, it gets stinky after a while. lol nice corner tho :P

LOL, i was only kidding my cr didn't do anything to deserve praise! certainly didn't go light speed, or drift through corners at 200mph like TnTs did..
